Practice Information
Location: BHS wrestling room. Enter High School through Stott Street through the doors closest to the swimming center and walk to the end of the hall where there will be stairs to the wrestling room.
Times:
- Monday: 6PM – 7:30PM
- Tuesday (Advanced Practice): 6PM – 7:30PM
- Advanced practice for 5th-8th, or for those who are sponsored by a coach.
- Wednesday: 6PM – 7:30PM
- Practice will not* be held on days when BSD does not have school.
- *Note that sometimes we may have a practice on these days if we have the appropriate staff available. See the calendar to verify if practice is scheduled.
- We will not practice on holidays.
- We may hold some optional practices over the winter break.
Wrestling Attire and Equipment:
- Shorts with no zippers or buttons
- T-Shirts
- Wrestling Shoes
- Shoes are not required but are highly recommended. Wrestlers without shoes must wrestle in their socks.
- If you need loaner shoes, please check with coach your first day of practice before practice starts. We have a limited supply of loaner shoes and sizes.
- Shoe Donation: If you have wrestling shoes you no longer need, please consider donating these to the club. You may bring these to practice and give them to the wrestling staff.
- Water Bottle
- Recommended but not required. Water fountains are available outside the wrestling room. Bringing a water bottle will help speed up water breaks.

Tournament Multi-Session Time Schedule
- 2 1/2 hours for each session
- 3 full mats, (12 quarter mats) / max 4 brackets per mat
- 8am: 7/8 grade
- 10am: 5/6 grade
- 12pm: 3/4 grade
- 2pm: 1/2 & PK/K grade
